The first 7ish miles were my last trail miles for awhile - and holy crap but they were beautiful. I finished up through the barrens ending at the Saint Croix River. Just absolutely gorgeous. So many flowers. Deb met me at the end of the trail and I had lunch before I began the road section. Today was mostly gravel and almost no traffic. Another amazingly warm sunny day.
Today I saw 2 more people on the trail a few miles before the road section, that makes 6 people total outside of Copper Falls SP. It's nice having the trail all to myself but it's unfortunate that more people don't take advantage of this amazing trail.
